Paul David Leopoulo
Leopoulos is a humble man, but he’s made the news as Bill
Clinton’s childhood friend. The former president flew from
Washington to Arkansas when Leopoulos lost his teenage daughter,
to a tragic car accident in 2001. Thea was a gifted artist and
performer, so Leopoulos honored her memory by establishing a
nonprofit devoted to the arts. Since its inception, the Thea
Foundation has worked with Arkansas schools to provide arts education
and scholarships to underprivileged youth. In 2006, the Thea
Foundation and Clinton Foundation launched Art Across Arkansas,
which puts art in schools and produced an educational DVD in
which celebrities discuss the wondrous possibilities of art.
