Dr. Ruth Constant

Constant was chairman of NAHC’s board of directors from 2003 to 2006. She brought an impressive background to NAHC, having trained as a nurse, earned a doctorate in education, and advanced home care throughout Texas. She developed the state’s first Medicare-certified home health agency, established two others, and was a founding board member of the National Association of Home Health Agencies, later part of NAHC. Since then, she has served on the NAHC board as a representative of Region VI and the Home Care Nurses Association. As an author and public speaker, she embodies an industry that strives to treat others as they would like to be treated.
